In the book, Katniss believes that Rue finally began to trust her. But was that really true? What if Rue wasn't really Katniss's partner? As you know, Rue was killed by a fellow tribute. What if she made an alliance with the tribute that killed her, but then he turned on her and killed her?

I think that Rue really did trust Katniss after Katniss offered her the leg of the animal she shot. Rue is one of those charaters that will trust anyone that trusts them.
